The shape of a good interface
What a Bangla folk tale taught me about pacing, restraint, and the difference between busy and alive.
Last summer my grandmother told me a story about a man who carried a single page of writing for thirty years.
The page was nothing special. What made it worth carrying was the way it had been folded — carefully, with intention, in a way that turned the act of opening it into a ritual.
Good interfaces feel like that page.
